Description

X-200 Low Loss Cable 3M, 5M, 50Ohm Extension/Replacement Cables SMA-Female to SMA-Male

PLEASE NOTE: These are sold as singular cables.

Our flexible X-200 coaxial extension cable is perfect for applications on the UHF, VHF, 868MHz and 915MHz bands where thin, flexible cables are necessary. The 0.200″ diameter combined with a low loss of 0.390dB per metre @ 868MHz (~1.95dB total loss in this 5m assembly) makes a good choice for general-purpose flexible extension cables and leads up to 2GHz.

This cable is an upgrade in places where you would otherwise use RG-58.

The tough PE jacket resists UV and provides excellent durability in harsh outdoor environments.

This cable performs substantially better than RG-58 at the same diameter, and is comparable to LMR-200 (a trademark of Times Microwave), and other 0.200″ / 5mm jacketed low-loss coaxial cables.

Installation note: It’s critical that all outdoor connectors are taped with self-amalgamating tape (not electrical tape)! Water will seep through screw threads over time, and will permeate your cable and antenna via the exposed connectors, causing performance to mysteriously drop some days or weeks after installation.
